Participants will engage with activities targeted at both the areas of interest and level of knowledge and skills of common students who elect to study the Stage 6 Numeracy CEC. We cover each of the modules, the meaning and application of NRMT and the implications for assessment. Participants explore the details of the syllabus and the resources provided by NESA, and spend time considering how to each design a course that is most suitable to the needs and interests of students in their classes.

Participants will leave this course empowered to effectively plan lessons and units for this course that will engage this very specific group of students. They will also be given lesson ideas and resources to use with their classes.
